Home is your coach and launchpad. Aid holds one high-conviction next move when you're stuck. Relationship is the story and sense-making for that person. Visual is your visual read inbox—what you noticed plus a plain take (not a score card). Same coach in the app or in a linked messenger.

How do you protect my privacy?

ForReal is built to stay private. Messages you send to the coach—in the app or in a linked chat—power your coaching and may be kept so Relationship, Aid, and your story can work for you. Visual reads and files you share follow the Privacy Policy.

We don't sell your personal data and don't use your conversations to train public AI models. There's no public social graph. Coaching replies are automated, not a human reading your DMs. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Why do I need to sign in to use ForReal?

Signing in keeps your Relationship story, Aid moves, Visual reads, and people you've added private to you—the same in ForReal or a linked messenger. There's no anonymous browse mode; your story needs a home that stays yours.

How do I link WhatsApp or Telegram?

Open Settings → Preferred chat and connect a supported messenger (only the official options we list—WhatsApp or Telegram). One account keeps the same relationship story in the app and in that chat. Prefer staying in ForReal? Use Chat in ForReal on Home without linking a messenger.

Can I use Chat in ForReal in the app?

Yes. Chat in ForReal on Home is the main way to talk inside the app—the same relationship story if you later link WhatsApp or Telegram. You do not need a messenger to start.

How do I share what’s going on?

Share what happened—how you feel, a moment that mattered, or words that left you unsure. In the app use Chat in ForReal; in WhatsApp or Telegram send text (or an image when you choose). What you share updates your story on Relationship and can become Aid next steps or Visual reads when you save them.

What does ForReal see in my messaging apps?

Only messages you send to the ForReal coach in the linked thread—not your other chats, groups, or contacts. The coach is automated, not a human. Each messaging app has its own policies; ForReal isn’t part of those companies.

Does the coach in my messaging apps cost extra?

Linking WhatsApp or Telegram doesn't cost extra, and there's no per-message fee (see our Terms). It's one coach, one account.

On iOS, after guided setup an active subscription is required to use Main—Home, Aid, Relationship, Visual, and your coach in the app and linked messengers when access applies. Subscribe to continue with a coach that knows your story—not a separate messenger plan.

How do I disconnect or change my linked messaging app?

Settings → Preferred chat—unlink or run the link flow again. Deleting your ForReal account removes linked messenger credentials too (see Account).

The coach isn’t replying—what should I try?

Check your network, make sure you’re messaging only the official linked coach thread, and try a short resend. Open Chat in ForReal on Home to see if the coach responds there. In Settings, confirm the coach link still looks active. Restart the messaging app or your phone if needed, then email support@forreal.love.

Who can I add in ForReal?

ForReal is for one person you're figuring out romance with—someone you like, someone you're with, or someone in Near a breakup or after. You name them during onboarding; Relationship and the rest of the app follow that person only. To focus on someone else later, open Account in Settings and tap Start over—it clears your content and runs setup again.

How does ForReal know where I am in romance?

• Crush & dating — you like someone or you're early dating
• In a relationship — you're together (including when things need care)
• Near a breakup or after — near a split or after one

It sets tone and context for coaching—not a lock on what you want (boundaries, less contact, or moving on are fine). Change it anytime in Relationship.

How do I add someone?

ForReal tracks one person at a time—you name them during onboarding. There is no second profile alongside the first. To focus on someone else, open Account in Settings, tap Start over (Delete all your content and run the guided setup again), then complete setup with the new name.

Can I use ForReal with more than one person?

One person at a time—not a list and no switcher on the main tabs. To change who you're focused on, open Account in Settings and tap Start over. That clears your ForReal content and runs onboarding again with a new name. Linked WhatsApp or Telegram follows the same focused person after you reset.

How do I edit someone I’ve added?

ForReal is one person at a time—you can't drop them while keeping the same story. To change who you're focused on, open Account in Settings and tap Start over (Delete all your content and run the guided setup again). To remove your account entirely, use Delete account in Account.

A visual read is one saved moment: your image plus a sayable headline, what stood out to you, and a plain-language take from ForReal. Use it to reflect, share with friends if you want, or talk it through with your coach. It does not replace real-world conversation or clinical advice.

How long do you keep my data?

Text, files, visual reads, and coach messages you send may stay in your account until you delete them or your account, so coaching, Relationship, Aid, and Visual can keep working for you. Retention details are in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account starts removal of ForReal-held data as described there.

Can I export my data?

Email support@forreal.love and ask for an export. We'll send a portable copy of your coach history, the person you're focused on, Visual reads, and related data when we can.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete account removes ForReal-held data, including Preferred chat links. Stopping charges from the App Store or Google Play is separate—see Billing in this FAQ.

So you can pick photos and social stills for Visual in the app. Processing and retention follow the Privacy Policy. Chat in ForReal and linked WhatsApp / Telegram work with text alone—you do not need photo library access for those.

ForReal offers yearly and monthly subscriptions through the App Store on iOS. Price and regional terms show at purchase (reference where shown: about $49.99/year or $9.99/month USD).

After guided setup you get a real read and next step. An active subscription is required to enter Home · Aid · Relationship · Visual · Account on iOS—tap Continue to keep a coach that knows your story (not a free browse tier). Linking WhatsApp or Telegram uses the same account, not a separate plan. Manage billing in the store that charged you—see our Terms.

How do I manage my subscription?

Open your device or store account subscription settings (where you manage apps you pay for), select ForReal, and change or review the plan there.

How does proration work when changing plans?

Proration and plan changes are handled in the App Store subscription screen where you bought ForReal. You can switch between yearly and monthly in the same subscription group when the store allows. Check your subscription there for status.

When do subscription changes take effect?

Per your store’s rules: after you cancel, access usually runs through the paid period. Upgrades follow the timing shown at purchase.

We don't advertise a separate free trial period in ForReal's paywall story. On iOS, after your read in guided setup, you Continue with a subscription to keep coaching that knows your story.

If the App Store shows intro pricing on a plan (for example a first-month offer), the exact terms appear at purchase and vary by region and account. Cancel in your store's subscription settings before renewal if you don't want to continue.

What is included, and when does billing apply?

How do I cancel my subscription?

In your store account subscription settings, open ForReal and cancel there. Access stays through the current period. Deleting your ForReal account does not stop store billing, cancel where you subscribed.

What is your refund policy?
